Global Bilingual Academy (GBA) is a distinctive, world class school in Kuwait for boys and girls of all nationalities and ages. We currently have grades Pre KG to Grade 6 and will add a grade each year until we reach Grade 12. Everything we do is planned to help your child achieve their absolute best academically as well as developing confidence and a broader understanding of the world around them – supporting each student to go on and take their place as a prosperous ‘global citizen’. This is reflected in our character, mission and our vision.

There is continual assessment of each child’s accomplishments. Teachers use a variety of methods including testing for knowledge and skills, observations, portfolios of children’s work and analysis of book, project and practical work. Attitude, learning skills, social relationships and effort are considered equally important when looking at the complete development of a child. GBA is passionate about creating and ensuring Parent/Student/Teacher partnerships, which are developed and established to ensure the success of each child’s learning. Conferences are held for discussions of each child’s social and academic progress and technology is utilized to ensure clear and open communication between all.

GBA offers a rigorous program of learning; the American Common Core Curriculum and Next Generation Science Standard and, for Arabic subjects, the Ministry of Private Education Curriculum. Global Bilingual Academy students receive the best of Arabic and American education to prepare them to live, learn and work in our progressively globalized world. The curricula builds on children’s curiosity through formal classroom content mixed with a broad range of associated ‘real-world’ experiences. This builds a solid platform for information and concepts which students will build on while at Global and for the rest of their lives
